Maker’s bio
Susie discovered her love of using acrylics and mixed media to create semi abstract paintings during the Covid lockdown, and has continued experimenting since then, using vibrant colours to express landscapes and still life. As with so many people living in Cornwall, Susie mainly draws inspiration from her local surroundings. She finds as much interest in the moorland landscapes she is lucky to live near, as the spectacular Cornish coastline.
Most recently Susie has been learning the art of printmaking, and loves the experimentation involved trying the various techniques. Lifting the paper off the press to see the result is a surprise every time!
