Maker’s bio
Kirsty has lived and worked in Cornwall for many years and has always been creative. She has always been interested in different art media, including sketching, painting and textiles. This passion for creativity reignited her love for mosaics during lockdown 2020 and, in turn, led to Monchic Mosaics being established in 2022.
The inspiration behind her mosaic work comes from everything; from the Cornish scenery and nature, to popular culture and the love from her family and two daughters. Kirsty creates mosaics for every taste, specialising in one off unique statement items, gifts and practical pieces.
